Introducing the Thermomix and Cookidoo
A Thermomix TM6 is an interactive kitchen assistant that combines multiple functions specialising in heating and mixing. It was launched in the 1970s and has been given periodic major remodels to add in functionality beyond the core elements, which resemble the best food processors.
What does it do?
In its simplest form, the Thermomix TM6 does what its name suggests – cooks and mixes. While that sounds like a fairly basic proposition, the combination of heating and rotating ingredients at different speeds – from gentle stirring to vigorous blending – forms the basis of so many cooking tasks and, is at the heart of one of the key benefits of the Thermomix – ‘wet’ foods such as sauces, risottos, soups and stews.
Like having your own sous chef in your kitchen: you can use the TM6 to weigh, chop, mix, emulsify, beat, stir, grind, knead, mix, slow-cook and much more. Featuring an intuitive touchscreen and with Cookidoo® fully integrated, it’s super easy to follow the steps of any recipe to create a complete meal without breaking a sweat.
You can also tailor the recipes to suit the size of your family using ‘scaled recipes’
